Tom Miars threads up. Tom was head projectionist from the late 1960s until the early 1970s and is now a master plumber. Whenever our plumbing acts up, we call him! |
Most employees tended to get tossed in the trash can by Don Herndon at some point. Here's Darren Lopez (along with the Herndons' dog Molly) getting the treatment. That's Don in the white shirt. (Approx. 1976) |

Projectionists Ray Deering and Abner Miller take a work break. This is the best photo we have showing the old original Roxy carpet. Our new carpet recalls this design. (Early1970s) |

Betsy Becker will probably kill us for posting this wonderful picture of her, but we're doing it to show our very cool old pop machine, which unfortunately isn't with us anymore. It featured two flavors, Coke and Root Beer, and no ice was given in those days. This was taken around 1977. |
Before he owned the Roxy, Mike Blakesley was a projectionist. Here he is with trainee Jim Borer in the booth, around 1976. |
