  • When the Roxy first opened, it had 500 seats, including 75 in the balcony.
     

  • Currently, we have 194 seats -- 44 in the balcony. (Over the years, the number of seats has been reduced to increase comfort and legroom.)
     

  • Width of seat cushions in 1979:  19 inches

  • Width of seat cushions today:  22 or 24 inches
     

  • Legroom in 1979: 32 inches

  • Legroom today: 50 inches
     

  • The "Spanish balconies" (pictured below) are still in the auditorium walls, they are just covered by the curtains. The "wrought iron" grilles on the front of the balconies were actually made of cardboard.
     

  • Aisle and wall lighting is provided by LEDs -- 8 in each row of seats, and 15 behind each of the triangular wall sconces, for a total of 264 LEDs.

    The Roxy sold only Coca-Cola and Root Beer until 1979. We currently offer six flavors of soda, along with three kinds of bottled water, and fruit punch.
